Disclaimer

I am still learning how this blog thing works. If you don't like my blog, because it is too hard to read, it makes no sense on how I arrange things or it is just a mess, don't worry I will still love you! I started it, so that I too could keep some sort of journal on my kids and our family (especially since the Huff family website is no longer used, because you all have blogs). Read it when you would like, just don't make fun of my inabilities to center on the page. I am still figuring it all out!

Sprout #3! and the Name of our blog.

So, most of you know we are expecting Sprout #3. Brown sprout (the brown haired child) thought it should be a boy because logically, we have a boy, a girl, and then it should be a boy. Red sprout (the red head in the family) doesn't really care what kind we have as long as it is a baby and she gets to hold it. The ultrasound sound today says GIRL! Ben was the one who started the names of red sprout and brown sprout so that is the name of our blog, but our blog name might have to change once the new one comes along. Perhaps it will be a blond and will call her "yellow sprout". I guess we will have to wait until about March 2nd to find out.

Prayer Time

So this picture is a little bit staged. But if you could have seen the scene before I said hey "go back and pretend you are praying" it would have melted your heart. Getting the kids to bed most nights by myself can be an adventure to say the least. Usually I have a set time when I think they are going to be asleep, but almost always it is disturbed by one thing or another. This particular night, I was grateful to see that the kids took initiative on their own, after threatening "NO STORIES" if they didn't hurry it up and get ready to pray. I came in, hearing sweet voices praying, and I was grateful that I got to put them to bed that night.
