These are the last of the updates. The snow has come and the kids have built snowmen, forts and have gone sledding and it is only November. Hopefully they will find pleasure in the coming months with more snow to come. Hank, the cow, now rests in peace, and we are grateful for his service to our family. It was a bit of a sad day to see him go. Only Isaac cried, although every now and again we look out the window looking for our pet cow. Autumn still asks about him, and each time we see a Holstein she yells "Hank!".

Halloween 2011
Halloween was fun this year. We went to Isaac's school Halloween party at the beginning of the month and then the Trunk or Treat with the church at the end of the month. The kids dressed up everyday of the week until it was over. We started out as snow white, fairy, piggy and magician. Then we became Rapunzel, Fairy princess, Little piggy and scary vampire Isaac. Holidays are so fun with kids.

Fall Harvest has come and gone.
The harvest has come. We were blessed with so much. We learned how to can this fall and it gave us a great love for our mothers who have done for so many years and for our ancestors who did it prior to them. We canned salsa, tomatoes, applesauce, peaches and even some pizza sauce. We were so excited about our watermelon, we only got a few but this one was the biggest. Autumn helped me rake leaves one morning and the picture of Tess is on her 6 month birthday!
